My experience visiting"The Taste of Chicago"

Chicago is a beautiful city. A city where you can find any kind of events or entertainments for the all family. One of these event is called "Taste of Chicago". It happens every year on the last week of June and first week of July, it is the largest food festival. It takes place at the Grant Park, it is on down town of Chicago.On the "Taste of Chicago" you can enjoy different kinds of food, like Italian food, Mexican food, etc. Also you can enjoy different presentations like music, dances, It is on the pavilion .Since I came to the Chicago almost 12 years, I have been visiting the "Taste of Chicago" because I like to enjoy the weather, the food, the presentations and I like to take a walk once in a while. i can tell you since I was visit it enjoy every year. Maybe you think, how it is possible! if ti happens every year nothing changes but, it's not true, every year you can have different experiences.For example, last Thursday I went to the "Taste of Chicago" with my English class so, this year I have a different experience, I've never been there with a large group. When I was at the classroom I saw he face of my classmates, some of them were happy like a little kid, others act like it was a normal day.Then at 10:50 we left the school and went walking to Grant Park. While we walking, I had the opportunity to talk with some of my classmates that never talk to. I liked it. I was enjoying the walk and talk with them. When we arrived, some of them were taking pictures. Then some bought tickets for the food.I enjoyed sharing time outwith the class, my teacher and the weather. But most of the time, we can;t enjoy all of the people there because some times it makes me sick.If you ask me if would go again with my class; my answer is "YES!" but, I would like to spend more time with my classmates because on this occasion I feel like I didn't spend enough time to share.This is why I invite to you visit the " Taste of Chicago", it s fun and entertaining.I you can enjoy next time!

The Detective Inspector Rod Eliot is one of the major characters in the story. He lives in London with his family; he is married with Sally and they have an eight-year-old son, Micky.He works at the criminology department where he helps to solve crimes.When the Inspector Eliot tries to solve a crime he likes to be as calm as possible in order to find the right solves crime.He loves his family although he doesn’t expend enough time with them, because his work, but he try to find time to expend time to expend with his family.He prefers Fridays because of the weekend a head; he can expend time with his wife and son. Usually on Saturdays when the West Ham played at home, he takes Micky to watch the game.According to the story Eliot looks a good father and very hard worker.

One Thursday morning, my teacher decided to go to the Taste of Chicago at 10:45 am.The purpose of our visit the taste of Chicago was to have fun,eat good food and write a essay. Everyone was exicted.
In,15 minutes we were at taste of Chicago.The weather was fantastic.It was a pleasure walking and talking with my classmates. While we were walking everybody was hungry. As soon as we reached at taste all of them brought their tickets. There are huge crowds. I don't like people are bumping eachother.It is a pleasure to walk slowly. They have got so many different types of food stoles. I had Pizza's and ice-cream. After we finished eating.We went by the fountain. It is lovely to walk around.Eric had his camera with him. He took some pictures. At last wewent on the ride. The kids were painting their faces.Band was too loud. It is very well organized event I ever been too. It is for whole family event. Olderly people enjoys too. While we were coming outside we show big trailers on the either side of the road All of us had great and unforgetful time.
I will remember my teacher and my ESL-4 class forever. We had a lovely time at this event. We were there for 1 1/2 hours only but we enjoyed our time. Best time i ever had since i came in chicago.

Taste of Chicago

It's not just taste ....... It's Taste of Chicago

WOOW!!!......Thats so exiting. Last week, I 'm and my class were in Taste of Chicago by our ESL teacher. We were so enjoyed about the food was in the taste.

I prefered the Shrims whith Onion and Frensh fries. It was really dellisious, althougth thats cost a punsh of tickets. I ate the Italian pizza too. It was teasty good despite the things was in the piese. Like the pepperouny ,pickles and the italian cheese. About the sweets, I tried the Mexican Ice creame by banana and milk. It was taste good, and I didn't taste this Ice creame before. After the food I went to watch the big screen viewed the history of Taste of Chicago and how by the time is so important too. I took some photos about the taste , the food I ate and I took some photos by my friends. I want to keept for memmorise because I don't want to forget these nice times whith my friends and whith teacher too. And before we want to go back I said bye to the taste, but I whish to dont be for ever . If you looking for fun ,so you have to try taste of chicago. That's because it is not just for taste food. You could taste the fun too over there.

Taste of Chicago

Althought I went to Taste of Chicago with my family not classmates, I still think that trip was very interesting. Actuality, I didn't eat many food in there, but there had one food gave me "cool" this feel and I liked that most--Scoops Italian Ice. It had three flavor and I tried all. Perhaps that food wasn't very delicious and ordinary, but it was a great food at that time. When you stayed in a very crowed place, you felt very hot and you were thirsty, Scoops Italian Ice would become your drug. I mean that can save you life. I think I would go again and I would go there with my friends.

If there was a "Book of Grates Ideas",Corona's idea would be in first place.In order to make our class more interested she took as to "Taste of Chicago" festival,and she was so successful doing it.

Although,not everybody came,I had a great time.There was a lot of food,but somehow I always found beer first.Food at the festival wasn't that special,but hanging out with my teacher and classmates was very enjoyable.Somehow after 30 minutes our class were group of four people,and that was the best part of the day.Walking around we saw a group of people doing some dance performance and talk about some very amazing jump which we never saw,but we pay for it.Anyway,we keep walking when we saw a huge circle on the midle of street,that was ferris wheel.It was very scary,and I denided to ride on it but Corona make me do it.That was great experience.We took many pictures of the city and festival it self and they look very good.After that we were stuck taking a picture of Corona and horse,but horse wasn't very friendly.I think he was scared of us.Finally we came to the end of street Ben decide to buy a bigest turkie leg ever.He was so funny.We made some pictures with that leg too,and after we finish our last beer we left the festival.

Going on festival was a great idea.Seeing Corona stuck with a huge piece of watermelon,drinking beer with Erick and Ben eating a huge turkey leg is definetly something I'm looking forward to see again.

Taste of Chicago

Thursday was a happy day! Ms Corona brought us to go to Taste of Chicago. And we took many pictures with our classmates and teacher. Everything was new for me, because this was my first time to go to Taste of Chicago. I really enjoyed it with my friends. There are a lot of foods in front of my eyes. I don't know how to choose. But I also ate many foods. My favorite food is rainbow ice cream and chesses pizza. I like chesses very much. It’s smelled good and taste delicious. I like this fun trip; I hope I can go with my friends next time.

Taste of Chicago

I went with my classroom.My experience for Taste of Chicago 2009.The best for me is Thai food because I was very hungry. I ate Phad Thai ,Thai fine noodle stir fried with pork, beef or chicken, dried tofu, ground peanuts, eggs and bean sprouts. With fresh shrimp.I was very enjoy with Thai food, but I think Thai food,Phad Thai in Taste of Chicago 2009 is expensive than in restaurant.Next year I may go to Taste of Chicago again .

It is a happy day , although i dont go there but i can think of the lively scene , there are a lot of people that they stand and talk about somethings , i like the event because it is feedom and ad libitum , many kinds of foods are chosen by us but i dont nowhich one i should buy first , they all look delicious , you can speak out freely who you don't no , you should share happy with them it can make you happier , next year i must go there taste everybody's happy and eat many foods i like the festival it make us happy , i think everyone hope it hurry up and come.

Taste of Chicago

Each year I had to go to Taste of Chicago with my family and friends. On Tuesday, I went to Taste of Chicago with my brother, but this year taste of chicago no fuuny and less food than last year. This year less more free games and no more choice to buy the delicious food. I just brought 24tickets I went around,but didin't buy any food to eat. My brother always call me to buy some to eat. I tell him no food for me to eat. Finally, I buy a piece of PiZZA to eat, because I heard many people say Connies Pizza very delicious and I go to school I pass Connie Pizza every day I smell the Pizza's fragrance. This year so speacial I go with my teacher Corona and classmates on Thursday. Althought, I go there before. Go there with famliy and classmates the feeling are very diffferent. We have take some pictures.

THE TASTE OF CHICAGO.
On Thursday I had a very good time with my school friends. We went to the taste of Chicago. We decided to go because our teacher Corona told us about last level 4. She said she had a lot of fun with them.
We walked from the school to The Taste of Chicago. We walked around ten minutes. I really wanted to go because I went last Saturday with my cousin, and that was a lot of fun too. This is my opinion I could see some people didn’t want to go, and they went because they didn’t want to lose points.
I like to socialized with people, and improve my English. One of the things what I liked was hung out with Corona, Ben, and Eddie. I think we had fun than anyone in the class because we stood together to the end.
Another thing I liked was to ride the treadmill that was Corona’s idea to ride that thing. That was an exited thing. We took many pictures, on the treadmill, and all the way up we saw the city that was amazing. Then we decided to go to eat some.
Then we went to the fountain, there were horses we took picture we them, and more picture by the fountain. After that, there was circle with many people, we decided to go, and it was show of dancing, and flipping over that was a good entertainment for us. Then we went for more food because we were hungry. Everyone bought something to eat. One of the Fannies things was when Ben bought the big turkey leg. Everyone was making fun of that, but each of us beat the turkey leg, and a picture.
In the end of the day each of us was tired, and we decided to go home. One of things I really liked was hung around with Corona, Ben, and Eddie. I think we had a good time each of us, and we stood together to the end.
I’d repeat this experience next year because it is interesting to meet new people. Have fun with different kind of people, and make new friends.

As a class we really have fun at the Taste Of Chicago. I used to hear about the Taste Of Chicago, my cousin invited me to there, last weekend, but I didn’t have time to go because I had to work. But this week Ms Corona said that she went to the taste with her students last summer, and they really have fun on it, so corona decided to go whit us this year. I like this class activity.

We stared to go after eleven o’clock. It is my first time to visit the Grant Park. It’s a beautiful park near the Lake Michigan. We took a lot of picture on the way that we went to the taste as a class. Even I was so hungry, but I couldn’t walk faster to the taste because there was many thing interests me. We arrived at eleven thirty and, there were a large number of people at the taste, we lined up to buy some tickets. We couldn’t stay together because there were too many people. We separated in to several group to hang around. I was hungry so I want to find food immediately, so I walked very fast along. There were many kind food interests me. Finally I found a booth name Las Tablas Colombian Steakhouse, and bought some Entrana Skirt Steak with Sweet Plantain. It tastes very great. After that I went back to join corona, Erick and Eddie as a group. We rode the wheel, before I rode it, I was very afraid of it ,it look very fast. But in fact, it’s not as fast as I thought. It was very exciting. While we were yelling, we took a lot of picture. Then we went to the fountain we saw some horses, and saw a group of jumper’s show. At last I bought a huge turkey leg , it was real huge and take picture of it too.

I have a lot of fun in this trip, “those all are our memory” said Ms Corona. That’s true.

Taste of Chicago

I liked the idea of being out of the classroom a little bit.The Taste of Chicago was something I really enjoyed to visit.I had a great time with Corona and my classmates.
It is not so far from school,and it is not so expensive to eat there.
I tried everything possible I could like,and everything was delicious. There was one thing I did not like. There were a lot of people , and the lines were very long. Also, I wish they would have had good brazilian food.I will  definitely go again next year because of this great experience.

Although I didn't going with our classmate, I went there the first day they opened. There was a large arch-shaped door on Michigan Ave, and everbody could not help taking a look. So my husband and I decided to have a look and just used our eyes to "taste Chicago". Many people queued up a long line for food ticket. When I went inside the Taste of Chicago, everywhere was a busy scene. The waiter was busy stir-firing a variety of foods, and the shopkeeper was engaged in charge. Everybody looked eagerly toward the culinary in progress and hoped next serving is belong to themselves. When they start taste their food in hand, everyone showed up satisfied expression. All of us enjoyed this especial festival!

It's my third times to go to Taste of Chicago. I was happy with my classmates and Mrs. Corona. There are lots of different style foods that I don't know which one I can choose. In fact, I am sensitive to seafood. So, I do not eat other foods. Like last year, I bought a rainbow ice cream. Although, I'm fat,but I can't control myself. Because it's too good. If I have time that i will go there with my friends. During this time, I realized I am closed with other classmates and teacher. As same time, I can using my "Poor English" talk to other people. Maybe cames much more people and the weather is very hot that I can't find other classmats and teacher. So, I left there with other three classmates. I would like to go to there with classmates next year if we are keep in touch. I like Taste of Chicago..

TASTE OF CHICAGO

I always like the hang around with my friends and see different cultures. This is why i pick the united states for my education. United State is one of the most beautiful countries where you can find diversities.On June 30th was one of the days which i like. We went to Taste of Chicago with my classmates . while i was hanging around with my friends i was also have a chance to see different people. it was my first time at Taste Of Chicago. I hope i would go there again in the future.i didn't have enough time to taste delicious foods there. i only had a chance to taste seafood but I am planning to taste all of them next year..

I also had some good times with my classmates and Ms. Corona. i also had a lot of opportunities to make a practice in English with my friends. I am very upset because i had to leave early. i missed rest of the event. i guess you guys have a lot fun. i hope i would go there again next year with the same group and Ms. Corona.

Taste Of Chicago

I like the most is there's alot of different kind of vendors at the taste.. The least i like is hard to find transportation and place to park.. I enjoy the many different kind of ethnic foods.
The least would be too many people and the weather is too hot..
I would have to see if the weather is hot or not before going there again...

Taste of Chicago

I am glad to join Ms. Corona's idea which is to go to the Taste of Chicago. I like to take outside classes because it is more fun than staying in classroom. We went there after class. On the way to the Taste of Chicago, Corona, my classmates and I took some pictures for remembrance. When we got there, I found that there are many people and stands. The stands was used by ticket rather than money. So I bought some tickets from the ticket office, it was 8 dollars for 12 tickets. The area of the Taste of Chicago is this it was very big and there are many variety of foods. I bought a beer first. It required 9 tickets. I immediately realized that I didn't have enough ticket to use if I wanted to taste more. Therefore, I went to buy tickets again. Actually, it is a little expensive for me, so I only tasted two kinds of food, tempura shrimp and cheese fries and they were pretty good. Although I only tasted two kinds of food, it was a fun trip. Because of Corona and Eddie. They were very funny people and I followed them so I was not be bored. I really enjoy going there with my teacher and classmates and dicided to save money to go there again to eat all of the variety of food next year.

An Experience of "Taste of Chicago"

We went to Grant Park for 'Taste of Chicago 09" this morning. Grant Park is not far from my college, only took we 10 minutes to walk there. There were alot of people in there, which I had no idea. We stood in line to buy tickets for food. After I got tickets, which was 8 dollars for 12 tickets. I went inside the place, and saw many different kinds of food they sold. Some menu posted on the top on each booth. Foods were expensive for me. I used 12 tickets to get a cheese and an energy drink, that was all, but the food was ok. I enjoyed the food and walked around, I noticed a booth for playing a video game called "Rock Band". Most of players were kids, but they were really good at it as they had played for a long time. Next to "Rock Band", there was lots smoke came out from the back of a booth because it was selling barbecue food. I smelt that so good, but I didn't try. what a pity! Finally, I just found out a chinese booth was selling chinese, people only bought eggroll from it. Most people were eating fried food and pizza, alcoholic drink was not popular at that place. I had funny in Taste of Chicago, and I excepted it reopen on next year.

We went to the Taste of Chicago on july 2!!!

After Esl we went to the Taste of Chicago with classmates and Ms.Corona!!! But I visited 5 times...Hahaha!! I like the Taste of Chicago!! And I was happy today! Because usually,when we finished esl we break up pretty soon...however I talked many classmates,I had a good time!!!

We took many pictures and tasted many things. Some classmates shared many kinds of food! But...today I forget invisalign's case so I did't eat anything... I was disappointed.

By the way, I have been to the Tasete of Chicago 5times with my husband, my son, and my friends! I ate many foods! But my most favotite food was Pizza!!!! This was very delicious! Can you see pictures? This is my recommendation!

The Taste of Chicago is very big Festival so it was crowded. I was in trouble because I had a baby, but we could not walk for a moment. I was so tired...Do you know "Ne-Yo"???????????????????? Acutuary, I saw Ne-Yo's free concert at the Taste of Chicago in Grant Park yesterday(juli 1)!!! I was very impressed!! In Japan, he is very famaouse singer. If I buy his concert ticket, it is about $200 and very expensive! I had seen his performance first time! I had a good time, too!!! Acutuary, my apartment is near from the Taste of Chicago! So I will go there a couple of times by the end of the Taste of Chicago!!

Anyway, I want to say "Thank you Ms.Corona for this arrangement for us". I was very happy, thank you every classmates!!!

She was red wig fell off. She had short black hair that's all hide here self ,but finally D.Hank knew here. However, he was not shore because nanny warred clothes wasn't legal for here. More than some body grape here in a far hospital on here house. She could not breathe because she get a strong sick she never had it before. Maybe came from the pills was on here bag. After a few minute she die. Every body get it so seriously ,and here husband too. Doctors said Nannette die by heart attack. People start to remember how Nannette was . She was buried on Wednesday , and she was with Virginia all the time. Everybody know Virginia and Nannette was so friendly too mush. They was partner in the college too. Nannette was a healthily women. She wasn't eat any thing could be rested on here health. Every body started to think because they give possible to some body kill here by poison in here food or in the medicine. Maxine was trying to get the truth. He start to collect the idea step step. He Start to asked every body about here, and when everyone was with here. The doctor cared about Charley because he was a quiet person. In The last thing after The doctor has been kill Maxine know who is . Yes is Virginia because ,for the pill Nannette took on here room in N.Ave Clinic . the pills has a strong drugs for Nannette.

She is Dr. Maxine Cassidy. She is small and slim with short brow hear.
She is a woman doctor. She is a young doctor dedicated at her career, she is pretty woman , and basically she one of the main person in this interesting book.
She lives in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She is a successful doctor. She works at Mercy Hospital. Six months ago she was working in her own research, but she decided to stop the research. She stared to work at Mercy Hospital. A lot of people know her because she is a great person.
It’s was in July at midnight. Maxine was working at Mercy Hospital when a woman came at the hospital in a taxi her name was Nanette. Nanette came at the hospital very sick, she was wearing rare clothes, and she had problems to breathe. Then she fell in Maxine hands, and she got her. Then Maxine took her to the emergency room. Maxine tried all what she could, but it was impossible. Nanette was gone, she died, and nobody knew the reason why she died. After, she talked with Dr. Hank husband of Nanette, and Maxine told him to make an autopsy with her bury. Then Aaron is a doctor, and friend of Maxine. She called to ask him. If he could make the autopsy then he said yes. Two days later she got the answer, and the answer was Nanette died of heart failure.
Then they were in the Nanette funeral, but Maxine didn’t believe the answer of the autopsy. In the funeral Maxine was talking with Dr. Virginia, and was telling her what happened in the hospital with Nanette, and Maxine was in shook, and then she asks her how she knew what happened with Nanette. Then Virginia said everybody know what happen in the Mercy Hospital every day. Then Maxine was talking with Stanley, and she made a conclusion Nanette died for poison. Then she had to prove. Then she called to Aaron then she went to his lab to ask him. If he had blood from Nanette to make another autopsy, and he said yes, but he asks her if she was sure because she can be in trouble after. Maxine said yes it was okay. Then he sanded the blood to Texas, and days later he got the answer, and the answer was Nanette died of poison. Then Maxine was the suspect to kill her because six month ago she was doing a research about poison. Then Grabowski appered . He couldn’t find anything to prove Maxine killed Nanette. Then Grabowski and Maxine stared to work together to find the murder. Later Maxine was attacked three times because the murder of Nanette tried to kill her because she was making a lot of questions about Nanette. Then Maxine worked hard to find the murder, and later she could prove it. Virginia killed Nanette.

Jojo's Story ---- Chirs

Chris is the secondary character that having essential role in the Jojo’s story. He is a slim young war reporter of an English newspaper with yellow hair. Although he wasn’t the main character but he was mostly leading the story development. He came to the villgae with the UN soldiers to safe Jojo and sent him to the Children’s House. He was try to let jojo understand what is war and what should jojo going to do. He try to gave hope to jojo. I think he was the metaphor of the writer himself. He was a kind man. He was trying his best to help jojo and stop everything that going to the wrong way in this war because of his kindliness. He wants to show everyone that how did the people dying in jojo’s country. He wants to uncover the truth of this war, so that he can stop the war killing people, and let world return to peace. He doesn’t want any fighting, he believe that killing cannot bring peace. He wants to use his pen and camera to stop the fighting, and bring a better tomorrow to the word. But finally he failed. After he went back to England, jojo take up a gun. Jojo wants to fight. Chris was fail to safe jojo, and he was fail to stop the fighting and the war being again and again.



Why does the problem of fighting going to like this? I think there are many reasons can account for this problem. First, many people only think about themselves. They don't think too much for the other people. Thus, the fighting was been happened. Moreover, bad communication will also take partial responsibility. However, none of them like fighting. This world needs love and peace, and everyone should keep it all the time.

Jojo's Story

Jojo who is Jojo's Story's character. He is a ten years old and happy boy because he lives with his family. However, when a man appear, his life would change. The man kill people who live in Jojo's village. Everyone is dead, only Jojo is alone. He always think why isn't he dead. He feel very hungry and afraid because he doesn't know the man will come back or not so he just stay in his house. After, he hear a strange sound who is soldiers and a man-Chris. Chris is a writer and photographer. He said Jojo must leave because the village is very dangerous and may be has a war. Finally, Jojo follow Chris to Children's House. He meet Doctor Nicky and grown up in that.

I had read Emergency Murder this book. I was choose the character Hank Myer in the book. He was a busy man and he got married with Naette. He was a surgery doctor. He was a busy surgeon with many patients and he did surgery in five different hospital, including Mercy Hosptial. One day his wife was died he can not accecpt this thing. He wanted to found out the turth what happen to his wife.

I read "But Was it Murder" in this week , and I choose and describle the charater is Alex Forley. In the story ,Alex is very important role for he is death in the begin of story. His death is major point and start a story

Alex Forley is 35 years old. He is owner of an antique funiture shop for he is rich and great taste person. Also, he has a lot of money because his mother left it all to Alex. After his mother death ,he became a rich young man. He has a girl griend-Amanda Grant. Alex Forley has a beauitful house in BlackheathVillage located south east London. His house looks like 18th century house and he lives there over 15 years after his mother gone. His biger garden growning round roses. But all of his luck are gone in his bad day. He was die in November 5th Guy Fawkes Day.

The story I read was brains. That is one of story in the book,The Fruitcake Special and other stories. Gian Capaldi is one of character in brains story.I like to tell about her because I think she is a acute woman. She was 26 years old . She was studying for a Ph.D. at a university in Rome. She was hoping to become a Doctor of Science.The first time Giad and her boy friend have brains with monkeys.They have argument contrast he and she how the same or not the same monkey. After that, she referable from her study and he too.The last, he accord to Gian because he want to brains new thing with her. In my opinion brains is funny story because they tell what are between monkey and human. That is true.

Jennifer is the main character of the story. Jennifer has long, shiny black hair.She has smooth skin and broad smile. She is shinny and petite. She is very pretty.She is from London, England. Jennifer is an artist.She enjoys painting small pictures with a lot of detail. She is old fashioned in the way she thinks and the away she dresses. She is not a logical thinker,but she thinks very creatively. She likes to be very impulsive and make quick decisions. Sometimes she benefits from these quick decisions,but sometimes they get her into bad predicaments.

She is a smart and observant person ready to put herself into very dangerous situations for her friends. In conclusion,I thing that this young Dutch woman is a good detective and a great friend.

The Real Aunt Molly ----Molly

Aunt Molly is one of character. She is the kindest, sweetest person on earth. She got married with her husband and gave birth to twin boys after one year when they got married. She had a happy marriage and family. But her husband had an accident and dead. In a way, her husband had died, a part of her died too. But she was still a hard worker and remaided a good mother to her sons. She wanted to stay at home all the time. She never went out and had no outside interests, she only spend what free time she had listening to the radio and watching the game show. So, her sons thought out a good way to took her to the game show. The man hypnotised her and when she opens her eyes, she will be a new and confident women. After that she really chang, she began to read anything she could got her hand on. She also started to go out to all kinds of places. She fall in love with a man who is a professor of classics at the university. The man who hyphotised her was death. So, no one can make her to return to what she had been before. Then she started her new life.

Jungle Love(Lisa)

In Jungle Love this book, I like Lisa character , she is a single women. In this book she and Jennifer are a parther , they come from England . Lisa has a short hair , her face is similar a men, but at this trip, she hope in the jungle , she can find a boyfriend. Usually she likes talk a lot, I think she is a cheerful women, every though sometime she complain about everything , but I think that she is a strict and wants higher standard person. I like her , because she is very fearless . I'm a fearful person , maybe for this reason , so I like her ,I want to learn some of the stuff about her in this book.

Finders Keeper

In this story Harry Chen is the character. He was a thief. He wasn’t a person. He was a very greedy person & selfish . At University of Singapore. He was a archeology. His job was to find old antique and put in the museum at university. One day head of department send him to find old grave on island. He could not find anything except old pot. As he was returning from that grave he knocked of the pot and broke it. When he bend down to pick up the pieces he found small thin pipe, the length of his tiny finger. He put small pipe in his pocket. When he returned professor was asking him what did you bring. He lied to him and said I don’t have anything. Professor was disappointed because Harry Chen couldn’t find anything. Actually Harry Chen lied and put that clay pipe in his pocket. He was sitting at the coffee shop and looked at the clay whistle and it was written BE STILL on it. He thought let me blow it and he blew it and everything was still. Nothing was moving. People were frozen like statues. He blew the whistle again and once the normal returned. He likes to buy from antic shop but cant buy from his salary. His favorite shop is selling expensive things. He used to hate fat tourist who buy but don’t have value or beauty. He always think that wasn’t fair. He took out the whistle and blew in that shop. He took his favorite piece from and shop and a small jade dragon. He felt existed that he had ever felt in his life. He could walk any shop and take whatever he wants. He felt like a god and powerful. He could use the whistle to get himself anything he wanted. Nobody knows his secret. Sadly, he couldn’t see future. So he cannot play horses , buy a lottery ticket and find out numbers. One day he took off from work. He kept one bag ready to put his shopping. He decided to have a coffee before starting. While he was having his coffee he was looking at fat and rich tourists who were putting more films into their cameras. Harry finished his coffee now time to whistle about to blew there was a brilliant, blinding light that shot through his eyes. He dropped the whistle in his confusion. Tourist was taking picture of his wife using the flash from his camera. But he had dropped the whistle. He looked around and felt some thing under his shoes. He looked down. The whistle lay in pieces. He felt shooting at the tourist. But his time had stopped. He felt afraid, robbed. He felt that it wasn’t fair for him. The name of the book is “The Fruitcake Special” and the title of the story is Finders Keepers characters of the name is Harry Chen.

" The Amsterdam Connection" has many characters in that. I want to describe character Raul Sanchez.
Kate Jensen's friend max Carson was murder in Rotterdam. She was go to Rotterdam because Kate wanted to find out the skiller. In process of looking for evidence, Kate knew raul had been offered a lot of monry to lose matches. Kate needed Raul and Elly's help. After Raul and Elly found the skiller Christiaans, they were injured.
Raul Sanchez comes from Combia. Like every Combia people, he was handsome with dark brown skin and lots of curly black hair. In this story, he is a good goalkeeper at Rotterdam City Football Club and a nice man. He also working too hard and to take care his family, make they lives better.Maybe he has some problem,but he still tried his best to help kate catch skiller. Actually, he can appeared his fail that not easily. He is belong society in each story perhaps have.

I read the book "But was it Mureder?".And They have some majyor characters.I choised a character 'Jamie Bowen'!He is not the hero of a novel.But he is important for this story.
Jamie Bowen is policeman at New Gross Police Station,London.He is twenty-eight years old.His parents were rich and he had been to Canbrigde University.Bowen was honest and intelligent and a good policeman.But he was alwys falling in love with the wrong women.They were either married,or not interested in him,or totally crazy.All that education ,but he can't get a girlfrend.He is not bad looking ,with dark eyes and all that black curly hair.

The Fruitcake Special -- Anna

Anna is a chemist at the Amos Cosmetics factory in New Jersey, USA, twenty-seven years old and single, woking to design different perfume. In her mind, she is a ordinary looking girls and less attractive. She has two faminly member, Aunt Mimi and her mom. They think they could do only one thing for her is to find a husband. But she is stubborn and doesn't think marrige is the most important in her life. At least, now is not. So when her aunt introduces a young nice guy Armstrong to her, she just say he just a pizza delivery man and he is not fit for me. But, when she is trying to design a new perfume, an interesting thing happens. She throws a piece of the fruitcake Momma, which had packed for her lunch, into the new perfume she just mixes. And she tries it on her hand. At the mean time, her boss Mr. Amos, a handsome dark English guy, comes to her, has the smell and suddenly asks her have a night date with him. And at the dinner, he tells her he is falling in love with her. Another strange thing is when she has the dinner with her boss, a waiter passes their table and takes the smell of the fruitcake perfume, and is sweet on her right now. After that Anna find out all of problems are from her new perfume. It makes everybody fall in love with her. But when they lose the smell, they will feel their heart is not in her. They bring happiness for her but it just a little time. This matter makes Anna feel downcast and hopeless. She hates the perfume and thinks nobody is actually loving her. She begins to stay at home and don't see anybody. Whereas, one day, a person knocks at her door, she thinks it is her aunt Mimi. Bur when she opens the door, she sees the pizza delivery guy stands there and holds up a pizza box which has "Armstrong's Peachy Pizzas" in big letters. Now he owned a pizza company. He explains he have fallen in love with her when he first delivers pizza to her. But he wantd to be a success before he tells her. Anna is touched by him and starts out the door. Finally, she has a happy ending in this story. The story tells me a truth, people always find their happiness, but maybe it is just by your side.

He was tall, with the most beautiful dark brown eyes and the whitest teeth. His body looks fit with black skin. He was a retired football player. Before he retired, he had played for Holland and belonged to Rotterdam football club many times as a striker. He was a great football player and real star. He was also very good-looking. There were always reports in the newspapers about his girlfriends, who were usually models and actresses. People were surprised because he was only twenty-eight, still quite young to retire. Actually he didn’t want to retire. He didn’t want to leave from his favorite, football. He left from football because of some mysterious reasons. His apartment had a lot of equipments for security. There were three or four locks on the door. The security was liked a bank. It seemed liked he was afraid of something bad would happen to him.

Max was Kate’s friend and Max was dead. The policemen believed that Max was dead in a mugging. But Kate didn’t believe that and she thought that it linked to a serious plot about Rotterdam football club. She believed that Max was dead in a murder. She asked Essen for help because he was a retired football player of Rotterdam football club and he also was Max’s friend. Finally, Essen was willing to help Kate to find out the truth and gave her some important information about Rotterdam football club. They decided to meet the next day for another important information. But the next day never came for Essen because he was found dead outside his apartment.

After I read the story, I believe that Jos van Essen is a good person. He was forced by someone to fake a score of match. Although it would take a lot of money, he really didn’t want to do that. Finally, He preferred to retire early. He left his favorite sport and dream. Unfortunately he didn’t get to tell Kate about the truth before he was murdered.

The funniest thing I ever saw

When I was at China , dog can catch snake and mouse, that's very funny .In my hometown,snake and mouse are same as food for people to eat. For example ,they are good for your health ,so some people want to catch them for living.Snake is very dangerous for people who catch them ,so people change use dogs to help them . Dogs nose and hear are very sensitive,it can help to find mouse and snake ,when they sense the mouse and snake's where about, the dog make a special noise and also crawling with their paws on the ground. The hunter always use fire to force the mouse and snake out of their home or cave ,when they running out of the home or cave ,dogs can easily catch them, the whole experience very funny.

The funniest thing I ever saw was this drunk person because he was so drunk that he tried to drink from breathalyzer.He was an old man who was driving very badly so the police stopped him.The police asked him to breathe in the breathalyzer machine assuming he was drunk.However,instead of blowing into the breathalyzer the old man tried to drink it like bottle of wine.I think it's funny because the old man is from my hometown and in this video he is acting like a teenager.

The funniest thing I ever saw was the super roller coaster. This picture I saw on the internet last year. When I looked this picture, I could feel centrifugal force and I thought I didn't have courage to play it. I took this picture to my young sister, after she saw it, she felt confuse and asked me this picture is real or not. However, I didn't know because I just saw it on internet. On the other hand, I thought this picture may be was false. If we sat on the top and the thrust was very fast, I thought before we landed, we would die already. By the way, even if the super roller coaster is real and the thrust not very fast, I don't play it because it is very horrible.

The funniest thing I ever saw was my pet was biting my friend. Before I came to US, I had a snake as a pet. One of my friends had snakes as pets too and whenever he came to my home, he was used to taking my snake out and play on his hands. One day, this friend came and wanted to take it to play. And I warned him that my snake was on a bad mood because I just changed a living area for it. When a snake changes a living environment, it would be irascible. But my friend ignored my warning, so he was bit by my snake. At this time, I didn't know what I should do because My friend and I don't have the experience of being biten by a snake. We tried to pull it off, but the harder we pulled the snake the more it constricted my friend's forearm. Finally, I thought of an idea. I used a blower and turned it on toward the head of the snake. A few second later, the snake released its mouth from the forearm of my friend then I caught on the snake's head immediately and put it to its living place. After this case, I never saw my friend take my snake out to play again. Whenever I think of this case, I still can't withhold laughing.

In every Mr.Bean series telled about something happen with Mr.Bean.The self-titled first episode was broadcast on ITV on 1 January 1990, with the final episode Goodnight Mr. Bean on 31 October 1995. The last time I saw Mr.Bean series was The Thin Blue Line - The Complete Line-Up disc 1. The name of some series in disc 1 I saw was Night Shift. They telled about Mr.Bean was a policeman . He was a boss of some section in police office and his son came to live in Mr.Bean house 2 weeks. The members of the Gasforth police squad face all sorts of mischief when they pull night shift duty. The Funniest Thing I Even Saw Was Funny Sleep

The funniest thing I even saw was baby funny sleep. when I am unhappy , I will see those pictures.Look at this picture, this little girl sleeps on the table , and she does not fall down. how magic is it! baby sleeps at anytime, anywhere she wants. Even, I don't know who are those girls, I still so thankful, people who took those picture and shared to us. The funniest thing I ever saw was "KABUKI"! 4 years ago I saw KBUKI!Kabuki is a Japanese classical stage art established in the Edo period. Like Noh, Kabuki is performed exclusively by men to the accompaniment of music and songs, but unlike in Noh, the actors don't wear masks. The Funniest Thing I Have Ever Seen

Yesterday, my husband and I drived to Botanical Garden Which is in the north of Chicago. After we arrived there and stopped a parking lot, we opened the doors and prepared to get off the car. The cute and a little "indignant" bird (in the left picture) suddenly rushed foward to us and rapidly vibrated her wings. We heard the hoots came from her small body and didn't know what happened. I thought maybe she just didn't want us to get off, I told to my husband, but why did she do that funny act or expression to us. We just looked at each other for a good minute until my husband suddenly said "look at her bottom side, there are three eggs, she is incubating, no wonder she looks like a frigter". Oh my god! I closed the door in short order and told my husband "go away now". At the same time told her "calm down, forget your anger and go on your work, we are sorry, and have a good day". How funny she is and how brave she is. So i have taken a picture for sharing and hoped her never mind. :)

The funniest things I ever saw was a name of a restaurant in china .This restaurant has a good common name in Chinese, It is mean "dragon gate restaurant". But the owner of the restaurant want an English name for his business that can let it seem more international. But neither he nor his employees speak English. So he find out a translate tool on Google’s website .He want to using this to translate the "dragon gate restaurant" into English. But unfortunately, while he was using Google to translate, the Google translate tool was accidentally not working. But the owner wasn’t aware it. He saw the web page appeared "translate server error”. He even didn’t what is it mean. He thought it was the translation results. So he prints it on the signboard and menu of this restaurant. I almost fainted when the first time I saw the signboard of this restaurant. It real shocked me. That is the funniest things I have seen .Even today I still can’t refrain from laugh when I saw it.

The funniest thing I ever saw was when my brother-in-law, two sisters & brother came to visit me at my house.I took them to play golf. All of them dressed up like golfers. As soon as we reached by the golf course,they started taking pictures.One was holding golfstick,other's are standing by golfset. They wasn't interested in playing game at all. They were busy taking pictures.One british family finised their game and standing there. They asked my brother-in-law how much handcap are you? He was in trouble.He could'nt anwer that. He thought I don't have any problem with my hand and why he is asking me this question in his mind. He changed his topic.so that the person asked him how often do you play.Few times. I remembered last two weeks my friends and me went to a restaurant at Chinatown Square. They quickly ordered some food and drink. I just ordered a cup of bubble tea to drank , but I thought not enought then I watched a menu for a long time. After that I am ready to ordered food. When I ordered the beef flank bowel powder the waiter came and told me that is for breakfast. I am very sorry! I didn't see the top of the menu. My friends told me all the waiter and the waitress looked at me. I fell so embarrassed. I thought this is my funniest thing occurred into body!!!!!!!

THE FELL

The fenniest things I ever saw was in my third year of high school. I finished my high school in El Salvador in 2006. In that year I had a friend his name is Joshua . He was my best friend. He was in the band of our school. Then he told me a lot of things about the band. Then I took a decision to be a member of the band because I was very interested through all the things what he told me. After that I learned fast all the songs, but it was really difficult because in the band are a lot of norms I had to learn too. At the time I learned all those things. Then I stared to go out with the band at presentations that was a lot of fun with all the members of the band. Is one special presentation I think I will never forget because it was really fanny ,and ridiculous at the same time. It was a big presentation we always wore a fancy and elegant uniform. We were marching really good. In ours presentations always were a lot of people watching us. When we marched all the time we were looking in front of us. We never looked at the sides. We were marching on the street. Then was a big hole on the street and nobody saw it. Then my friend Joshua fell in the big hole on the street that was really fanny. He fell in front of all the people and a lot of people were laughing because he fell, but we could not laughing about it. Then we finished with the presentation, and we came back to the school, and we had a meeting to talk about it. Our instructor was very angry, but nothing happened after. The fell of my friend now is story because when someone remember that presentation is always the name Joshua. In conclusion I think I will never forget my friend Joshua and the presentation because this is one of my funniest things I ever saw in my life.

Snoring*zzzzzzzzz*

The funniest thing I ever saw was when my puppy is snoring sleep. The puppy's name is happy. She is a girl. One day, I was to do my homewrok. Happy was sleep in my bed. Few minutes later, I heard a strange sound in my room. However, I do not have to care about that. The strange sound was so loudly. I was listening to carefully, the sound is from my back. Then, I saw happy snoring. She looks like a person sleep. She is so cute. When my family saw her, they always said that our family raise a little child. After I told my friends, they didn't believe me. But they were so surprise and interesting when they saw that. Maybe saw or heard people snore is normal, but the puppy snore was the funniest thing.

The funniest thing I ever saw was when my father lost a bet,and he had to dress up in women's clothes for a soccer game.If you met my father you would never imagine he would do something like this,because he is very masculine.When I first saw him,I said " What are you wearing",and I started laughing hyterically.That was something I will never forget.

The funnest thing I ever saw is my baby cousin stared to learn how to speak. he was 2 years old, and he couldn't speak more words. He could say "ma ma" and "pa pa" and that' s all. When we spoke something, whatever, he liked to copy our words, even he didn't know what these mean. But the funnest thing is he couldn't clearly speak what we said. we laughted at him, not just his speaking, and he twisted all the words to be other words. Then the meaning of a sentence had changed, even shifted funnier. He had no idea what we thought, he didn't realized what we laughted at. But we still had fun.

I was student in Turkey.I was 13 years old.I studied high school but i was not studying english for four years.My high school finished.I came here.I went to Dominican universty Els english school .I have been there just two months after that I trasfer other english school.I took english test my score intermative.I have been there same two months.I opinion i need practice,study and speaking.I hope everthing will do in the Harold Washington College.

Why I take this course

Why am I here because I am fail level 4 English this cousre and Iwant to repaly it. I don't want to waste my time so I take the class. And I would I can learned more English in this summer school and I hope I will past this course, too. I will try my best to do in the class.

why am i taking an ESL4 class?

My english skill is not really good, and I need to improve it very well because I want to find a good job in the future. Living in the US, people speak English, I also want to communicate with them using with excelent english speaking. hopfully, I will get better after I finish all the ESL classes. The reasons why am I here

Nowsaday, English is one of important languages and I want to improve English writing so I am here. I repeat leavel 4 because my writing wasn't pass. For this reason, I choose this lesson. I hope I can go to leavel 5 so I must try my best.

Why I am taking this class?

I am taking this class just have three reasons.
One is improving my English, prepare to the next study. My goal is become a nurse, it's easy to find a job. So, English is a realize problem I have to solve it, if I want to stay here.
The other reason is... I need to make some friends in here. This is the first time I have left China so far. My home, my parents, my friend, all of these is in China. It's the new life when I have taken off the airplane, stood on America.
The last is I am not a lazy person, I need to do something and can't just stay at home, just cook and wash everyday. People hope themselve becoming a useful person in society, at least I am.

How is important learn english to me.

I like to learn how to make a good paragraph. Practice my read,then I can read different kind of books. I Want go to college next year,for international bussines,and for that's happen,definately I need have a perfect english. Also I want to make my job easier for me,with a good english that will happen. Something I really shame,because I can not explain thing in english.I have never studied this language before,now for me is amazing be in the level 4. I am really exciting. I hope I can learn a lot in this level.

What I want to learn in this class

Do I have to think about that? No, I don't think so. I be this class beacouse I live in US now, so I need and I want to learn English for me to get a better feature, that is the only reason I'm here. So however what teatcher you will teatch me, I will do my best to learn. Or maybe teatcher you should think about that for youself, how should you do to make us learnning better.

New Day

Today is my second day in ESL 98 class in Harold Washington College.Everything is so wonderful , and I meet many new classmate and friend.Even through, that is my second time to take ESL 98 class. I will try my best and don't easier to give it up when I face any problems.Today, the weather is so great and warm. I think summer is coming, it is so exaltation. Also, I want to improve my poor english. and transfer to my dream university- North Park. Because I want to be a teacher in elementary school.Even, English is not my first language, I will try my best. My english teacher is Ms Corona. I think I will learn many things from Ms Corona's class
